I'm going with the Heat on Wednesday as my NBA POD. We will try to win three in a row on POD's and I like this play for starters the Cavs are 78% favorites after they won last night's thriller against the Magic a rival that they lost to in the conference championship. It was a game they needed to prove to the league they are back for more. Lucky for them Orlando has yet to gel together as a new team. Now they are playing a consecutive road game which is not easy to do especially when the team is relying on Shaq who played 20 minutes of physical basketball. I like the way the Heat are playing defense and the Magic after a big win are due for an upset to the Heat who are red hot right now with Duane Wade. Oh it will be a good one but my opinion is the Heat win this one at home by a couple of baskets.

Going with the Lakers here I like them in this spot as the Suns are red hot and the public is chasing them. Rarely do you see a dog catching the publics eye at this line. Not to mention the line moved up from -7 and is at -8 in some places that should speak volumes if you ask me. I like the situation I don't recall who had this exact situation just a game ago, but the Suns find themselves in the worst of scheduling times. They found themselves on the road for 7 days playing 5 games, and then they got a day off and then caught the Hornets at home last night. Now they have to fly all the way back out to LA to play the best team in the league? I don't care how good the Suns have looked this year they most likely won't look good here tonight. The Lakers are on 3 days rest, and this line normally under these circumstances would be double digits but because the Suns are so hot we get a manageable line. I'm taking the points in this one as our POD runner up.
